VIEWMED is a vendor-independent accessory for imaging modalities such as radiology, surgery, ultrasound, endoscopy etc. It enables expertise to the different areas to participate in ongoing operations regardless of their location via the system’s web-based interface.
The web-based interface allows you to communicate with audio and video to the operator in the operating room. You can both identify and select the live video while discussing the findings and capture the image or video sequence.
Videos can be cut by the user to smaller clips and merged into a single longer video, so all videoclips of interest are together in timeline as a single video before storage. VIEWMED allow for DICOM Modality Worklist or validation with integration to peoples registry, so the video or images can be stored with DICOM.
The stored material is sent to a DICOM archive where it is then attached to the patient’s record.
